Q. How will I know what activities are happening during my stay? A. You will receive the current activity schedule in your check-in packet. (You can view a brief overview on the "Activities" tab of the website.) Also, keep in mind that activities are limited during school times. Q. When can we expect to see the characters? A. You can visit Yogi Bear TM every day at different times and locations in the park...check your activity schedule for the details during your stay. However, Yogi's friends only visit our park during specific special events. |

Q. Why are there only crane games in the game room? A. The game room is one area on the "to do" list. We are trying very hard to find a reliable arcade servicer in our area. All crane games is just temporary. Q. Why are all the parks so much different? A. Each park is individually owned and operated. Some parks are corporate owned and some are owned by individuals. Many parks have been in business for 30 years and some have only been in business for 3 years. It took great customers returning and supporting the parks through the building years for the grand parks to get from 3 years to 30 years! Please "bear" with us as we journey through the rebuilding and expanding phase. We hope that you will support us and "bear" with us as we take the time to incorporate our big plans for the park. |
Q. Can I bring my own firewood? A. No, all firewood must be purchased at the park. Any incoming firewood will be confiscated. Upon recommendation from PA Dept. of Forestry, eliminating trasnportation of firewood reduces the likelihood of the Border Ash Bug that kills our trees. Q. Can I put up an extra tent on my site? A. Only ONE sleeping unit is allowed per site. |
Q. Can I reserve a site now but pay when I get there? A. No...Except for holidays and halloweens, all reservations require half down by Cash, Visa or Mastercard at time of reservation. (Therefore, please note: credit cards are not held...they are charged at time of reservation. Also, checks and money orders not accepted.) Q. Can I choose which site I want to stay on? A. We try our best to ensure site requests. However, we can not guarantee them in case of unforeseen emergencies. Therefore, we do not give the site number until arrival. |
Q. Why did the website show different types of cabins and other things that I didn't see when I visited the park? A. MANY times people are confused by the campjellystone.com website....please understand that it is a compilation of photos and information of all of the parks and does not represent any individual park specifically. For information about the Tunkhannock location only, visit our dedicated website: www.northeastPAcamping.com. Q. Is there anything else I should know before I arrive? A. EVERY guest is required to wear a WRISTBAND during their entire stay. There is alot of wildlife at our park. Camping is an outdoor experience and it is possible that you may encounter deer, geese, skunk, chipmunk, squirrel, bear, racoon, etc. If you encounter a problem or issue during your stay, PLEASE let us know! We strive to ensure that each guest has a pleasant stay. We cant make that happen if we don't know that you have a problem. |
Q. Is there wi-fi at the park? A. We are a hotspot for a local provider. If you need it at your site, please request a "wif-fi site" when you reserve. There is a small fee for wi-fi use paid online by credit card direct to the provider. Q. Why was I asked for my email address when I made a reservation? A. All of our confirmations are sent via computer generated e-mail. Therefore, please be sure to speak clearly when giving the e-mail address to the reservation specialist. |

| Q. I have a reservation, what time can I check-in? A. Check-in is anytime between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. in the summer. Q. What time is check-out? A. Check-out time is noon. Q. What if I want to stay past check-out? A. First, you'll need to ask a campstore clerk to see if the campsite is available for late check-out. If it the site is available, simply pay the clerk the total due. The rate is $5 per hour (2 hr. max.) Sorry, no late check-out available for cabin rentals. |
Q. I am planning on having some friends stop by to visit. Is there anything I should know about visitors? A. Actually, there are several rules that apply to visitors: * They aren't allowed to enter park before 9 a.m./after 7 p.m. * Visitors are not allowed to bring their pets into the park. * Visitors must register at campstore PRIOR to going to sites. * Visitors will also have to wear a wristband. (See "Rates" tab for fees) * Day visitors must leave park by 9 p.m. *Overnite visitors must leave park by noon scheduled day. |
